Joy and Daren were brilliant hosts, and we are so thankful that they shared their amazing location with us. The property itself is more than adequate for our needs and provided a great space for a weekend exploring the region. Would definitely recommend, and for larger groups the multiple properties in the same location are definitely worth considering.

'We had a wonderful time staying at the domaine de Beausoleil. Joy and Daren are very welcoming and they always make sure that everything is ok. We are staying in one of the pretty and typical cottages and enjoy the swimming pools with a great view of the country land. A kind of paradise on the earth. My children love it too. We have had as well the opportunity to eat Joy's food and myself being french and I can tell you that she could be also!!! Using local products : Meat, Wine, cheese, etc.... A delicious moment. Last, we have met nice english People (like all the english of course) who come for holidays and we do appreciate their kindness and the interesting discussions. So many things to visit around. Joy and Daren, once again, thank you very much.'

 

Nous passons un merveilleux séjour au Domaine de Beausoleil . Joy et Daren sont très accueillants et ils font toujours en sorte que tout soit ok . Nous séjournons dans l'un des jolis et typiques gites et profitons des piscines avec une vue magnifique sur les champs et collines . Une sorte de paradis sur la terre . Mes enfants adorent aussi . Nous avons eu ainsi l'occasion de gouter à la cuisine de Joy et moi-même étant français, je peux vous dire qu'elle pourrait l'être aussi !!! L'utilisation de produits locaux : viande , vin , fromage, etc .... Un moment délicieux. Enfin, nous avons rencontré des anglais sympas ( comme tous les anglais bien sûr) qui viennent aussi passer leurs vacances et nous apprécions leur gentillesse, tout comme les échanges intéressants que nous avons. 'We had an excellent time at Beausoleil. We had a really relaxing break here. The gites are very comfortable, clean and well-equipped for self-catering. Really liked the area - loads to see and do, bars and good places to eat within walking distance, a small local market for fresh bread, local cheese, honey etc. A great area for wine tasting too and the chocolate tasting was an extra bonus. Would definitely recommend getting Joy to cook for you - she's an amazing chef. Will definitely be back. st before Christmas. The perfect location to chill out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. And the food.....! Joy is an incredible cook! Although we braved a BBQ a couple of nights, the best meals we had were expertly prepared by Joy. 'Spent a fantastic week at Beausoleil with friends – would definitely stay there again. Darren and Joy were great hosts, really friendly and helpful and Joy’s cooking was superb. It’s a beautiful old farmhouse with comfortable self-contained cottages for guests, surrounding by beautiful grounds and open fields. 'It is a fantastic location, near the village of Lauzun. The cottages are set round a courtyard, there is a lovely garden and plenty of space to lounge about. Joy and Daren are really friendly and welcoming, but also let us get on with our holiday. As an extra bonus, Joy is an amazing cook, and can cook special meals or a lovely dinner for you. 'Enjoyed a fantastic visit to Daren and Joy's place just before Christmas. They are wonderful hosts and really go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. Joy was once a finalist in Masterchef (in the days of Lloyd Grossman I think - the certificate is on the kitchen wall) and it really shows! 'Stayed at the Domaine du Beausoleil for a long winter weekend with friends. Daren and Joy couldn't have been more welcoming and recommended some fine local food and wines, as well as some local places of interest to visit.
