French Food and Wine Lovers’ Weekends 2020

We are offering you the opportunity to enjoy a weekend of great food and wine in beautiful South West France.
Along with delicious home cooked meals and a variety of local wines, trips out, cooking demonstrations and time to relax, the weekend will give you the opportunity to learn something new or revitalise your interest in cooking. The focus will be on using seasonal, local and regional ingredients.
Places are limited to a maximum of 16 per weekend and the prices below are all-inclusive. There are two price levels depending on what accommodation you choose. It is even better value if you are interested in staying on for longer – so just let us know.

Welcome drinks and 4 course dinner on arrival
Breakfast every morning (Thursday – Sunday) including homemade preserves and eggs from our own chickens and ducks
Lunch with wine every day (Thursday – Saturday) including lunch at a local French restaurant and a food and wine pairing lunch with wines from the Bergerac region.
Dinner with wine every evening (Wednesday – Saturday) including a seven course dinner paired with award winning wines from the Duras region (see the 2019 menu below)
Visiting the traditional food and gift market in the beautiful Bastide town of Eymet
A trip to the artisan chocolate factory shop with tasting included
Wine tasting and tour of the vineyard at an award-winning vineyard in the Duras wine region
Cookery demonstration and food information session using seasonal, local produce
Price includes all the above plus 4 nights’ accommodation.
Arch (1 double bed and 1 bathroom) £365 per person based on 2 people sharing (MAY & JUNE BOOKED)
Lodge (1 double, small twin and 1 bathroom) £365 per person based on 2 people sharing (MAY BOOKED)
Shared accommodation – own room with shared facilities
Grange (2 double rooms, 1 single and 1 bathroom) £315 per person based on a minimum of 4 people sharing (MAY & JUNE BOOKED)
Farm (3 double rooms, 1 twin and 2 bathrooms) £315 per person based on a minimum of 6 people sharing
All gites have a sitting and dining area, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower plus private and shared outside space. Hairdryers, bath towels and pool towels are provided.
During the weekend guests have full exclusive use of the gardens and grounds and the two swimming pools.
